IADC (International Association of Drilling Contractors)

The International Association of Drilling Contractors has accredited the Instituto Técnico del Petróleo, Minas e Industria since 2015, making it the only Ecuadorian training center to have achieved direct accreditation with IADC — a sign of the level of competitiveness and training that ITPMI delivers in its programs.

NSC (National Safety Council)

(NSC) is a leading nonprofit organization in the United States dedicated to preventing avoidable injuries and deaths at work, on the roads and in the community. ITPMI is accredited to certify the DDC Defensive Driving Course (defensive driving for light vehicles) and the Lift Truck Operator (forklift operator) program. These certifications raise standards beyond current Ecuadorian legal regulations and demonstrate compliance with international standards.

EUDE Business School

In 2026, the Instituto Técnico del Petróleo, Minas e Industria signed a cooperation agreement with the European School of Management and Business (EUDE) in Madrid, Spain, which allows it to accredit its own programs or joint programs following an academic evaluation of the proposed programs. This guarantees that the academic programs have international-level technical support, providing additional backing to our participants.

IMO (International Maritime Organization) · ESMENA

As of June 2026, the Instituto Técnico del Petróleo, Minas e Industria has signed an agreement with the National Merchant Marine School (ESMENA) to promote and market the programs ESMENA offers to companies and the general public. These programs are endorsed by the International Maritime Organization and are a requirement for anyone working aboard vessels at sea.
