This Privacy Policy describes the processing of personal data carried out through this website, digital forms, the WhatsApp Business account linked to the site, and digital analytics and advertising tools. It complements the Personal Data Processing Policy (LOPDP institutional framework) and the Cookie Policy. This content is informative and fulfills the duty of transparency; it does not replace personalized legal advice or the enrollment or service contract for a specific course.

2. Regulatory framework

Processing is governed, among other rules, by:

• Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador, article 66, paragraph 19 (personal data protection).
• Organic Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPDP) and its implementing Regulations.
• Law on Electronic Commerce, Electronic Signatures and Data Messages, as it applies to electronic communications.
• Regulations of the Superintendency of Personal Data Protection (SPDP).

3. Scope

This policy applies to personal data processed through:

• This informational website and course catalog (including prototypes and ITPMI institutional domains).
• Contact, information request and quotation forms.
• Messaging channels linked to the site (WhatsApp Business), when you start or agree to send an inquiry.
• Associated digital analytics and advertising tools (Google Analytics / GA4 and Meta Pixel), when you have consented to non-essential cookies.

4. Data we collect

We may process the following categories of data:

• Identification and contact data that you provide: full name, email, phone, company or institution, country and the content of your message or request.
• Commercial or training interest data: course or topic of interest, preferred delivery mode, estimated number of participants and any other information you include in your message.
• Browsing and device data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, date and time of access, and similar technical data.
• Data derived from cookies and similar technologies: analytics identifiers (e.g. Google Analytics / GA4) and advertising identifiers (e.g. Meta Pixel), when you have accepted them. Details are provided in the Cookie Policy.

We do not deliberately request special categories of data (health, ideology, union membership, biometric data, etc.). If you include sensitive information in a free-text message, we will process it only to the extent strictly necessary to handle your request and with the appropriate reinforced safeguards.

5. Purposes of processing

• Answer inquiries, quote training programs and manage the commercial or pre-contractual relationship arising from your request.
• Record and follow up on leads and contacts in our CRM/ERP (Odoo).
• Communicate with you through the channels you choose (email, phone, WhatsApp).
• Measure site usage and improve content and conversions (Google Analytics / GA4), when there is consent.
• Measure campaigns and remarketing on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) through the Meta Pixel, when there is consent.
• Comply with legal, accounting, information security or rights-defense obligations.
• Send commercial communications about ITPMI courses and services only when you have authorized it or when another valid legal basis exists; you may object at any time.

6. Legal basis (LOPDP)

• Consent: when you tick the acceptance box on forms and when you accept non-essential cookies (analytics and advertising).
• Performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures: when you request information about courses or quotations, or start a contracting process at your request.
• Legitimate interest: site security, abuse prevention, basic technical improvement and reasonable administrative management, without undermining your rights.
• Legal obligation: when applicable regulations require information to be kept, provided or reported.

You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing, by writing to contacto@itp.edu.ec or by managing cookies as described in the Cookie Policy.

7. Recipients and processors

In addition to authorized ITPMI staff, the following may be involved:

• Odoo: CRM/ERP storage and management of contacts and requests (processor on behalf of ITPMI).
• Google LLC (Google Analytics / GA4): audience and site usage measurement, subject to your consent to analytics cookies.
• Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel and WhatsApp Business): digital advertising / remarketing (Pixel, with consent) and messaging when you start or agree to send an inquiry via WhatsApp.
• Hosting and web development provider: Alfa Business Planet Alfa BP S.A.S. and/or the platform's technical hosting infrastructure, acting as processors or sub-processors as applicable, under ITPMI's instructions and with confidentiality obligations.
• Competent authorities: when there is a valid legal requirement.

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it when necessary to provide the service, comply with the law, protect legitimate rights or when you authorize it.

8. International transfers

The use of Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, WhatsApp and, where applicable, Odoo or other cloud services may involve processing data on servers located in the United States or other countries. By accepting analytics/advertising cookies or submitting a form that leads to WhatsApp/Odoo, you are informed of this possibility. ITPMI requires suppliers to provide adequate contractual and technical safeguards and only processes the data needed for the purposes described, in accordance with the LOPDP and its Regulations.

9. Retention

We will keep your data for as long as necessary to handle your request and the associated commercial management, and afterwards for the periods required by legal, accounting or rights-defense obligations. Once those periods have elapsed, the data will be deleted, anonymized or blocked, as appropriate. Detailed periods by type of processing are set out in the Personal Data Processing Policy.

10. Data subject rights (LOPDP)

Under the LOPDP, you may exercise, among others, the rights of:

• Access, rectification, updating and deletion.
• Objection, annulment and suspension of processing.
• Portability, where applicable.
• Not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or significantly affect you, where applicable.

To exercise them, write to contacto@itp.edu.ec or use the contact form, reasonably identifying yourself and specifying the right you wish to exercise. The procedure, deadlines and requirements are detailed in the Data Processing Policy.

You may also file a complaint with the Superintendency of Personal Data Protection (SPDP) of Ecuador, in accordance with current regulations.

11. Security

We apply reasonable and proportionate technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, destruction or alteration. No system is completely secure; we ask you to also protect the confidentiality of the information you send us and of the devices you browse from.

12. Cookies and similar technologies

We use necessary cookies and, with your consent, analytics (Google Analytics / GA4) and advertising (Meta Pixel) cookies. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through the site notice. Full details are in the Cookie Policy.

13. Minors

The services on this site are intended for professionals, companies and people with the legal capacity to enter into contracts. If you are under 18, you must not send us personal data without authorization from your legal representative. If we detect data from a minor without valid authorization, we will delete or block it as soon as reasonably possible.

14. Automated decisions

This site does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or significantly affect you. Analytics and advertising tools are used for measurement and improvement, not for profiling with legal effects on you.

15. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical or practice changes. We will publish the current version on this page with the date of last update. Continued use of the site after publication implies awareness of the changes, without prejudice to the data subject's inalienable rights.
